A human being, becomes a walker, leaves the Base and heads towards the test Zone.
His only weapons are his movement, his loneliness, his competency and universal Knowledge and with that he will explore the unknown, who stands fearful yet full of encounters and findings.
This fiction supports visually the process of a collaboration project within a specific Network. The script is constructed in real time, analogous to the discoveries, the constructions or the failures of the collective. The generic character of this adventure is at the same time a gate and a vector. With the aid of sensors, he feeds the Network with data and information gathered from the real physical world. The data is subsequently adapted, consumed, analyzed from the Network, which will feed him back with the results of its lecture, analysis and interpretation. Soaked in information, will he be able to comprehend, appropriate and make use of it to move forward?
Creating a fiction by using a certain technology (sensors, mobile systems, pervasive and collaborative, augmented reality), is all about appropriating, refining and contextualizing it within a strong physical reality. The cohabitation of these two myths/illusions, Nature and Technology, is what generates the script of a virtual world metaphor, situated in the territory of new technologies, information and communication systems.
The lonesome searcher moves away to intense situations, to illusions. At the same time, the Network, remote and immaterial, struggles to touch this tangible reality.
